Get comfortable and relax during your session with one of our certified MFR practitioners. Your body and muscles will thank you!

MFR is the practice of applying sustained pressure on the muscle “fascia” or connective tissues

As a modality, MFR releases tension and restrictions on the fascia restoring movement and increasing strength and flexibility.

Knowedge and Experience You Can Trust

When it comes to dealing with muscles and injuries, our practitioners have the knowledge and experience to treat a variety of muscle maladies using Myofascial Release.

Athletic Injuries Are Responsive To Myofascial Release

Nagging injuries that hold you back can be exacerbated by restricted fascia. MFR helps to stimulate healing, restore mobility and increase strength allowing for improved performance.

Maintain Or Restore Mobility As You Age

Aging is tough on the body. MFR can help you maintain and/or restore mobility, strength and posture.

What is Myofascial Release?
MFR is the manipulation of muscle fascia using sustained holds

Fascia responds to trauma and stress, whether physical or emotional, by “tightening” and putting pressure on pain sensitive tissues. The pain can be mild to severe. Myofascial Release specifically addresses this issue by applying sustained pressure directly to the tightened fascia until it releases it’s restriction and relaxes and lengthens.

How does MFR aid in recovery?
Flexibility & Circulation

MFR reduces and releases restrictions in the fascia created by injury, pain, surgery or poor posture. The sustained holds used in MFR allow the tissue to release, relax and lengthen thereby reducing pain and increasing movement. Fascial restrictions prevent optimal movement, circulation and inhibit healing. Increased flexibility and circulation aid in healing muscle and tendon injuries.

Restore & Maintain Movement
As we age, fascia tightens and becomes restricted

Restricted fascia due to postural changes or injuries can account for a tremendous amount of pain for people of all ages. Myofascial release can relieve pain and restore movement without resorting to surgery!

Myofascial Release As An Intermediate Step BEFORE Surgery

In many cases Myofascial Release can be a viable alternative to needing surgery. Before you schedule a surgery, give us a call or fill out our intake form below to schedule a free consultation with Cheri to see if MFR Therapy is a potential solution for you.
